With high-end stores in the USA, 15+ brands and more than 5,000 products at cost effective pricing, the client has become a leading supplier in healthcare and nutrition.

Project Highlights

The client wanted a full fledge distinct e-commerce store for various brands launched and for a diverse range of products. The e-commerce store is equipped with appealing UI, multi-language, and multi-currency functionalities. The product is not restricted to one single application, it’s a cluster of websites of a variety of brands. Two new websites related to beauty products and Ayurveda were crafted from scratch in Magento and latest details were incorporated for a success. A major crucial move was taken to migrate the database of all brand websites from Magento 1 to Magento 2.

The Challenges

  • Slower page loading and searching
    Due to a large number of product SKUs, the effective page loading and searching time were higher.
  • Performance optimization along with UI improvement
    A Larger number of products and brands were creating lots of hassle in the overall performance of the website. Also, there was a strong need of improving UI in order to gain, retain, and regain customers.
  • Database Migration from Magento 1 to Magento 2
    This migration was a huge challenge as it involved 5000 + products including diverse database schema. A special dynamic process was required to be set up.
  • Restructuring existing system for third party migration
    The current system was not apt enough to establish synchronization and accommodate transactions with Jet, Walmart, and Shipworks
