As a Middle East intellectual, social, and cultural center, our client attracts a wide range of people from more than 60 nations to participate in its activities. To promote automated collaboration between readers and authors over a shared document like a Word or Google Doc, the customer wishes to create a Collaborative Document Management System (CDMS). This tool can be leveraged by students, teachers, lawyers, financial institutions, and law firms. Hence, Brainvire was chosen as a technological partner to help bring their idea to fruition.
Project Highlights
This customer-requested document collaboration solution will serve students, colleges, universities, writers, financial insulation, legal first, and other LMS platforms that rely on documents and data. This application will support PDF-formatted shared documents and allow real-time collaboration utilizing annotations, feedback, and comments. But in the future, we hope to integrate multiple communication options to facilitate user communication, such as video conferencing, file sharing, file recording, file collaboration, online book purchasing, and more.
The Challenges
- Real-Time Collaboration Function:For collaboration and immediate response, the customer requested a platform where all users could upload and share papers with each other.
- Personal Storage:Personal storage for each user was requested so that they could upload large PDF files of up to 1 GB in size.
- Traffic Handling:The client anticipated that the tool would be overloaded in the case of high traffic.
- Platform-Independent:Developing a web-based and desktop application that can run on both iOS and Windows is also a challenge.
