Sing In Chinese is a language school founded by Lynn, a songwriter of over 100 original songs from Sing In Chinese and a Chinese language teacher. Lynn has been using a patent-pending method to teach the language for nine years, and she started her Sing In Chinese Language School in 2015. After rearranging the curriculum multiple times and starting a bilingual Mandarin Immersion Preschool in 2021, she wanted to take another step forward by creating a mobile application that serves as an effective and engaging platform for children to learn traditional or simplified Chinese.

Project Highlights

Brainvire’s team developed the mobile application on the Unity platform. It facilitates learning the traditional Chinese language in a simplified form for children. The application offers a range of features and activities to promote interactive and engaging learning experiences. The application incorporates tools and exercises such as speech detection and response technology for pronunciation practice, matching exercises to associate Chinese characters with meaning, drag-and-drop activities for character formation, fill-in-the-blank exercises for vocabulary building, sentence structure, karaoke for practicing Chinese songs, and flashcards for vocabulary reinforcement, among other features.

    The karaoke features added a fun element for the kids. It boosted their interest and enthusiasm for learning Chinese. Additionally, singing songs to learn enhanced memory retention, reinforced vocabulary, sentence structures, and pronunciation patterns. The repetitive nature of karaoke helps solidify their understanding and retention of the language.
  • Increased Retention and User Loyalty

    Implementing a Pet and Pet Products Store helped keep users engaged, motivated, and consistent in their lessons. The feature provided children with a realistic virtual experience that helped them learn and develop an emotional bonding and a sense of responsibility while retaining user engagement and loyalty.
  • Efficient Uploading Activities

    Categorizing lessons separately with proper nomenclature for uploading the different files minimized the admin’s time for uploading activities in the lessons. It allowed the admin to invest more time brainstorming for new content and feature ideas for the lessons.
