About Project

The main goal of this project was to replace the client's old Hand Held Device (HHD) used for printing price and LPN labels with a cross-platform mobile app compatible with both iOS and Android. The client engaged Brainvire to create a Proof of Concept (POC) for the app, and our team thoroughly analyzed their requirements to offer a POC timeline. As a result, we helped deliver the desired product successfully.

Our team was approached by a client who needed a cross-platform mobile application for printing price and LPN labels, accessible online and offline for store users. We committed to delivering a tailored solution and worked diligently to create the app as per their specifications. So, we developed a customized mobile application that efficiently operated in both modes, providing a seamless label printing experience for the client's store users

Highlights

Our team created a React Native mobile app for the client, offering end-users a seamless label printing experience. The app's price label printing function allowed scanning or manual entry of barcode numbers, fetching data from the ERP system's APIs. Users could then select label dimensions from a predefined list, sending the data for printing. Offline mode accessed data from an Excel sheet uploaded to the admin panel via backend APIs. Similarly, the LPN label printing function used the ASN number, fetched data from the ERP system's APIs and sent it to the printer, or fetched it from an Excel sheet. Our Microsoft .NET Admin Panel allowed easy upload of Excel files in a specific format for offline mode.
