The client is an Indian-based home-improvement startup that operates on a multi-seller eCommerce model. The company aims to sell home improvement materials like paints, tiles, and faucets to diverse target audiences, including retailers, architects, and general buyers. The client reached out to us to avail of our Retail Ecommerce Solutions and enhance their back-end processes like sales, inventory purchase, accounting, and vendor validation, among several others, to enhance the efficiency of their business through Odoo ERP Development Services.

We created a sophisticated vendor approval system wherein some groups termed as ‘makers’ would update the vendors’ information. The ‘checkers’ would verify all the vendors comply with GST number, Pan card details, and Bank account details. In addition to this, we created a mechanism to auto-calculate the ‘buy price’ of a particular vendor’s products based on the pricing model they follow. We being a Odoo Partner further developed a system to record sales accurately in Odoo and keep track of the amount to be received from third-party logistics. We made an analytics mechanism to help the admin track profit and loss from a specific product category at any point in time. To raise purchase orders from Odoo, we managed fulfilment through 3PL Finally, using Odoo to create a virtual warehouse to see the 3PL.

Our experts created several modules to help the client effectively manage their critical business processes. To ensure that the products are of the highest quality, we created a sophisticated approval-based system for vendors passing through which they would be able to receive an order. We further developed a system that auto-calculated the buying prices for different vendors’ products.
