Custom Routes for Efficient Order Fulfillment
We implemented custom routes in Odoo to streamline order fulfillment from Magento. Based on product route configuration, orders follow three pathways: a 2-step process where goods move from the vendor to the Freight Forwarding Company (FFC) and then to the Room Service Warehouse, Special Orders that follow specific handling processes, and International Dropship for seamless global delivery. These routes optimize operations and ensure efficient order processing tailored to each product’s needs, enhancing overall fulfillment efficiency.
Enhanced Payment and Shipping Synchronization
Our integration between Magento and Odoo facilitated real-time synchronization of payment methods, sales orders, and shipping options. Customers could choose from various payment methods, which were instantly synced between platforms, ensuring seamless transactions. Shipping methods were also synchronized, providing consistent delivery options and improving the overall customer experience. The integration reduced errors and boosted operational efficiency by centralizing product management and ensuring accurate customer data synchronization, offering a smoother end-to-end buying process that enhanced customer satisfaction.

We integrated Taxjar, a powerful cloud-based sales tax solution, with Odoo to automate and streamline sales tax management for the client, addressing various exemption types, including Exempt, Non-Exempt, Government Entity Exempt, and Whole/Resale Exempt. This solution ensured real-time tax calculations, minimized manual intervention, and reduced non-compliance risks. By streamlining exemption management, the integration delivered seamless, accurate tax reporting, enhancing transparency and compliance.
