The client is an executive search firm based in Mumbai, India. It focuses on hiring across Financial Services, Consumer & Retail, Industrials & Manufacturing and the Pharma & Healthcare sector. Started in 2006, the firm is registered Non-govt Company with wide business scale in India. The firm approached Brainvire for two major projects – Application enhancement and mobile application development.

Project Highlights

Brainvire team migrated an entire project on the Brainvire server for maintenance and enhancement of the system. Brainvire team of developers customized and enhanced its existing system to automate and streamline the workflow and for the higher performance of the application. Furthermore, Brainvire developers developed a mobile application which tracks the client meetings and candidate review using the mobile from anywhere anytime. Plus, Brainvire team developed a chrome extension that fetches candidate data from LinkedIn and stores into the database.

The Challenges

  • Improving Speed and accessibility via migrating to Brainvire server
    Since client needed a higher performance for the application, it was quite difficult for Brainvire team to make necessary upgrades in the current system. The developer faced many issues on migrating the entire application to Brainvire domain.
  • Reducing Server Response Time
    If the functionality doesn’t load in a limited time, the user is likely to cancel it or leave the page. In order to have faster performance, Brainvire team had to perform code optimization to reduce the response time from sever.
  • New features incorporation without affecting the current website
    The client asked for few new features to be incorporated into the application. Developing new features from scratch is easy. But here with the limits of older database and code structure, it was quite challenging to add new features without affecting the performance and that too in shortest possible time.
  • Attractive and Efficient Display of multiple features
    The client wanted a feature-rich mobile app with appealing UI which consists of multiple features. It was quite challenging for developers to showcase many features on the small mobile screen.
