Our Solutions
Custom JS and API for Accurate Category Mapping
To address the issue, we utilized the BigCommerce API to identify relevant categories and applied custom JavaScript to pass these categories to the Sobooster application. This custom coding ensured the accurate mapping of variables, allowing subcategory products to display correctly under their main categories.
Automated Inventory Updates via Custom API
To solve the challenge, we developed a custom API to automate inventory updates. This API fetches inventory files from the brand’s server, uploads them to a middleware platform for accuracy checks, and removes discrepancies. After verification, it uses the BigCommerce API to update inventory directly on the platform.
Upgraded Plan and API Testing for Integration
We worked with BigCommerce and TaxCloud support to diagnose the issue and found that the client’s basic plan needed to include the necessary integration features. We recommended upgrading to a higher plan. We also conducted comprehensive API testing and verified the integration across BigCommerce and TaxCloud modules to ensure proper functionality.
